The Idea
Not a venue. A living space.

In a city deeply rooted in heritage, art, and culture, the Centre for Life emerges as a much-needed contemporary cultural space—responding to Bikaner’s evolving urban landscape and the limited availability of accessible platforms for creative exchange, where diverse artistic expressions can coexist and evolve.
Who is this space for?
Open to visual artists, musicians, writers, performers, designers, photographers, filmmakers, researchers, and cultural practitioners—from the city and beyond—the Centre for Life is both a platform and collaborator, curating its own programmes while inviting individuals and collectives to host their own.
With an open amphitheatre and exhibition hall, it hosts artist residencies, exhibitions, performances, film screenings, workshops, discussions, children’s activities, and creative gatherings, encouraging participation over passive consumption.

We don't own this space. We offer it — to the city, to its artists, to its wanderers, and to whoever arrives withsomething to make, share, or simply witness.

We have participated in exhibitions in Bikaner earlier also, but have never seen such management and arrangements before. Earlier we were skeptical about sales, but our sales were better than what we do in Jaipur or Delhi.
